Manchester United now discussing making move for ‘special’ 23-year-old with eight PL assists this term

Pedro Neto has come up in conversations behind the scenes at Manchester United as the club prepare for the summer transfer window.

Pedro Neto has certainly been one of the outstanding players in the Premier League this season. The Wolves star has come back from a couple of serious injuries in the last few years, and played a key role for Gary O’Neil’s side.

Only Kieran Trippier and Ollie Watkins have provided more assists than Neto in the Premier League this season. Unsurprisingly, he is attracting a lot of attention.

Arsenal are long-time admirers of Neto, while Manchester City are also keen on the Portuguese. Meanwhile, Tottenham have recently been linked with Neto.

And it seems that Erik ten Hag’s side could also look to make a move for the 23-year-old at some stage in the coming months.

The Daily Mail has listed a number of players Manchester United could target in the summer. And it is claimed that Neto has been mentioned within the club, with the Wolves star’s name being floated amongst several sides.

The report notes that ten Hag wants more depth alongside Alejandro Garnacho on the right with Jason Sancho surely unlikely to play for the club again while the Dutchman is in charge. There is also interest in Crystal Palace star Michael Olise.

Neto certainly looks set to make that next step in his career. Wolves fans must be aware that he is going to get the chance to move on at some point.

He is a ‘special’ talent with an incredibly bright future, particularly if he can completely put his previous injury issues behind him.

And perhaps Manchester United’s hopes of a potential deal have received a boost with the club looking to push towards being in a much better place on and off the pitch.
