A number of Manchester United fans have taken to comment on reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post suggesting that they missed out on Jean-Kevin Augustin just before he joined Leeds United this month.
When it appeared that Leeds were running out of time to bring a new striker in this month, Victor Orta seemed to produce something special.

The Whites announced on their official website that they have signed the 22-year-old on loan for the rest of the season. And they have the option to make his move permanent.
But it appears that events could have played out significantly differently.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are understood to have made an enquiry for the RB Leipzig man just before his switch to Elland Road.
It arguably highlights what a coup it is for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. They have seen off competition from the side who sit fifth in the Premier League for Augustin’s signature.
For Manchester United fans, the reports confirm that their decline is continuing. Some have slammed the club for missing out to a Championship side.
But others clearly do not appear to be particularly surprised by Leeds winning the race.
