Manchester United are one of a number of sides reportedly interested in signing Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka this summer after an excellent start to the 2019-20 campaign – and United supporters have reacted on Twitter.
The Daily Mail claims Arsenal are trying to tie down 18-year-old Saka on new terms before they face losing the England Under-19 international. He has clocked up 23 senior appearances in all competitions this season.
Earning £3,000 a week at The Emirates, he is due to enter the final 12 months of his current deal if a renewal is not agreed between now and the end of the season. But Arsenal are in talks, though plenty of sides are keeping tabs.
Indeed, Manchester United and Liverpool are both keen on landing Saka, as are German champions Bayern Munich. The summer window promises to be a busy one for Arsenal, both in and out.
Not only has Saka become an important member of Arsenal’s team, he has shown versatility to cover Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac at left-back – and scored three senior goals, once in the FA Cup and twice in the Europa League.
Bags of pace and trickery, Saka is a proper talent that boasts the potential to break into the England senior side in the future. Manchester United fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news they are after Saka.
