Manchester United could move forward with their move for Leicester and Tottenham target, Alassane Plea, according to a report from ESPN.
The report, which comes from Sky Germany, claims United are eyeing Plea as a potential alternative to Moussa Dembele.

Dembele is in-demand once more this summer, with latest reports claiming United are close to agreeing on a big-money deal to land the former Celtic man.
However, the Red Devils do have alternatives, with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Plea emerging as a fresh alternative.
The 27-year-old has rattled in eight goals this season to go along with some impressive displays upfront for the German outfit. ESPN claims United could land Plea for as little as £25m, making him a cheaper option than Dembele.

The Frenchman has previously attracted Premier League interest, too. Spurs were interested in signing him a couple of seasons ago, while Leicester are also thought to have watched Plea as recent as this season.
Tottenham, meanwhile, could rekindle their interest if they get a whiff that ‘Gladbach are willing to sell. Jose Mourinho is desperate for some good back-up for Harry Kane. Plea, then, could very much fit the bill.
Tottenham once again miss out on a player set for big things – TBR View
Could this be another case of Spurs missing their chance to sign a player who could go right to the very top? It looks that way if these latest reports are to be believed.
Plea is obviously someone a number of clubs fancy taking a chance on given the reduced market this summer.
At around £25m, he is, for a striker, a bargain. At 27 he should be entering his prime, too. However, with United now initiating contact, it seems Spurs will once again have to look elsewhere.
