Caglar Soyuncu continued his fine form with a solid defensive performance against World champions France on Monday.
The centre-half played a full 90 minutes against Les Bleus and helped his side manage a 1-1 draw in Paris.
Turkey fell behind in the 76th minute through an Olivier Giroud header, but hit back moments later through Kaan Ayhan.

It was a positive result for Turkey, who remain above France in their Euro 2020 qualifying group having beat them 2-0 in the reverse fixture.
Stubborn Turkey made life difficult for Didier Deschamps’ side, with Leicester City star Soyuncu proving a tough opponent for the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Wissam Ben Yedder.
The 23-year-old gave Ben Yedder nothing all game, and it was his latest in a string of great performances for club and country this season.
One thing’s for sure, Soyuncu has definitely justified the recent links to Manchester City (Fotospor).
TBR’s view
Soyuncu might have been forgiven for a first poor showing of the season against the reigning World champions but he again showed his class and maturity.

The promising defender – who cost the Foxes £19 million to sign from Freiburg (Sky Sports) – appears to be the real deal, showing excellent reading of the game and good ball-playing ability.
Those are two traits that City manager Pep Guardiola values extremely highly in defenders and Soyuncu has been consistent on that front all season.
