Manchester City supporters react as Jack Harrison completes third Leeds loan

Leeds United confirmed the signing of Manchester City winger Jack Harrison on loan for a third consecutive season on Monday – and supporters of Pep Guardiola’s side have reacted on Twitter to the move.

Harrison, 23, clocked up 49 appearances in all competitions – failing to miss a single match throughout 2019-20. He even started 46 of those 49, and had a hand in 14 goals mainly from the left side of midfield.

Scoring six, the former New York City ace also laid on eight assists. It has taken Harrison’s total number of appearances to 91 in a Leeds shirt – and now he is set to surpass 100 for the newly-promoted men.

That is because Harrison has agreed a third season-long loan move. A permanent deal had been expected but Victor Orta has struck a deal that gives Leeds the chance to sign him permanently next summer.

With his previous permanent clause in the region of £8million – as per the Manchester Evening News in January – it remains to be seen how much Leeds would have to spend this time around to nab Harrison permanently.

But getting the England Under-21 ace on loan saves Leeds a wedge of cash. Some Manchester City supporters though, cannot understand why the club have not decided to sell him on a permanent basis.

Others reckon he could still get a chance at The Etihad.
