Manchester City supporters react as Celtic reportedly make Patrick Roberts offer
Celtic have reportedly made an offer to sign Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts and lure the Englishman back to Parkhead this summer – and fans of the Premier League club have responded to reports on Twitter.
Roberts, 23, has endured a difficult couple of seasons after leaving Celtic in the summer of 2018 – struggling on loan at Spanish La Liga side Girona, Premier League’s rock-bottom club Norwich City and Championship outfit Middlesbrough.
It is a stark contract to his two and a half seasons on loan at Celtic. Roberts, an England Under-20 international, joined Celtic on loan in January 2016 and remained on loan with the Scottish champions until the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Clocking up 78 appearances in all competitions for Celtic, the former Fulham star scored 18 goals for Celtic and laid on 26 assists. Roberts, a £12million signing for City, helped Celtic win three league titles, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups.
Seemingly surplus to requirements at City and on loan at Boro – his fourth loan move away from City – TeamTalk claim Celtic have made an offer of £3million for Roberts. The bid is said to be rejected, but left on the table incase City change their mind.
Manchester City supporters have reacted on Twitter to reports that Roberts could join Celtic on a permanent basis in the coming months, and many are keen to see the back of the Englishman.
We should gamble and give him a half season and if he does not impress then cut ties

This kid should've pushed on more with his career. He was ok at Celtic but i wouldn't say he was outstanding.
