Reported Manchester City target Harry Kane is an “extremely important” player, according to Sven-Goran Eriksson.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been heavily linked with a move this summer.
And the Citizens are apparently planning talks with Spurs over his signature, The Guardian reported in May.

Kane recently spoke to Gary Neville on The Overlap.
He described Kevin De Bruyne as a “special, special player” whose deliveries are “a striker’s dream”.
Unsurprisingly, the England captain’s comments have fuelled speculation regarding a move to Eastlands.
Kane is currently on Three Lions duty ahead of Euro 2020, where he will hope to once again shine for his nation.
The 27-year-old won the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup as England finished fourth in the tournament.
Kane topped the goalscoring and assist charts in the Premier League, despite Tottenham’s disappointing season.
And Eriksson has backed the Spurs talisman to continue his impressive form this summer.
“He is extremely important,” the former England manager told Sky Sports. “One of the best goalscorers in Europe.
“He can be goalscorer No 1 in the Euros if he’s fit all the time. Let’s hope for that.
“Who’s going to play with him? Southgate has a lot of players who can do that.
“First of all, will he play two strikers or will he play one striker centre and two wide?
“It’s a good problem to have.”

Manchester City should go all out for Kane – TBR View
City enjoyed a superb 2020-21 season but once again fell short in pursuit of the Champions League.
That said, regaining the Premier League title and winning another League Cup show the Citizens still mean business.
Pep Guardiola must not rest on his laurels, particularly in wake of Sergio Aguero’s departure.
When arguably the best striker in world football is reportedly angling for a move, City must go all out to secure his services.
