Manchester City are again being linked with a move for Real Madrid ace Isco.
According to AS in Spain, the Premier League champions are eyeing up a swoop for the 27-year-old as a possible replacement for David Silva.
City legend Silva has already confirmed he is leaving at the end of the 2019/20 campaign, and the club need to think how best to replace him.

Isco has seemingly been on City’s radar for a long time, with links first surfacing about their ‘interest’ while he was still at Malaga before his £23 million move to the Bernabeu (BBC Sport).
The club have frequently been linked with a move for Isco down the years but a move has never really come close to materialising.
With Silva leaving, perhaps the likelihood of him signing this time around is stronger, but the club should not be entertaining a deal for one reason.
TBR’s view – City already have their Silva replacement
Signing Isco would be a total insult to starlet Phil Foden, who has been biding his time at the Etihad.

The England U21 international is technically gifted and has what it takes to replace Silva long-term.
Guardiola has often talked up Foden, only recently stating he wouldn’t even be sold for €500 million (Goal).
If his words are to be believed then he will go straight into the starting XI next season.
Signing Isco is highly unlikely but if it happens, £30,000-a-week ace Foden (Independent) – as much as he loves the club – shouldn’t stand for it and seek to play elsewhere.
