Kayky produced a wonderful solo goal on Sunday evening as Fluminense earned a 3-1 win over Nova Iguacu amid reports that Manchester City are reportedly close to completing a deal to sign the teenager – and City fans are amazed on Twitter.

The 17-year-old has been strongly linked with Man City for some time now and a deal is reportedly on the verge of completion. Fabrizio Romano has claimed that a deal is ‘confirmed’ and described the stage of the transfer with his tag ‘here we go’.

It is claimed by Romano that a fee of £8.5million will be paid to Brazilian side Fluminense – plus add-ons, which could see the figure rise to £14.75million. It is expected that Kayky will eventually move to City in 2022, remaining at Fluminense on loan.

City fans are clearly excited at the prospect of his addition in the coming weeks and now, he has shown supporters why he is being signed by Pep Guardiola’s side with his second senior goal in six games – scoring on Sunday with a Lionel Messi-like goal.

Man City fans reacted to his goal amid reports that a deal is near completion, and many are excited at the prospect of seeing the pocket-sized Brazilian in a sky blue shirt – but they will have to wait more than a year to get a glimpse.
