Manchester City fans react to reported Jack Grealish interest

Manchester City are being linked with a potential move for Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are extremely excited by the speculation.

The Daily Mail reports that Man City are rated favourites to sign the 25-year-old from their Premier League rivals in the summer.

It is explained that Man City’s manager Pep Guardiola is a fan of the Villa talisman, who was valued at £100million back during last summer’s transfer window.

The report states the player would be excited about a potential switch to the Etihad Stadium.

Man City, who are the runaway league leaders, are still challenging in four competitions.

A large part of their success has to be down to the sheer amount of quality players in the forward ranks.

If Villa attacker Grealish was to end up at Man City, he’d be joining the likes of Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Ferran Torres

He’s predominately thrived as a left-winger, albeit he usually has a freedom to drift around the pitch as Villa’s star man.

The playmaker has seven goals and 12 assists in just 23 appearances so far this season.
