Manchester City fans react to performance of Cole Palmer in Under-23 win

Manchester City under-23s thrashed West Ham United 5-0 and afterwards, supporters raved about a superb hat-trick by Cole Palmer.

The 18-year-old was in blistering form and took his tally of goals for the season up to eight from 11 games.

City are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League 2 table and look to be romping to the title.

Palmer has been a regular in the team this season and has also made the bench four times for the first-team.

His form hasn’t gone unnoticed by boss Pep Guardiola and he has two outings to his name for the senior ranks.

Palmer looks set for a bright future and he took his goals with absolute aplomb yesterday afternoon.

West Ham were powerless to prevent the winger from running riot on the right-hand side and had no answer to his quality.

The Citizens are nurturing some superb talents and Palmer looks like another to emerge off the conveyor belt.
