West Ham United and Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City loanee Yangel Herrera with the player currently on loan at La Liga and Europa League side Granada – and City fans have responded on Twitter.
Herrera, 23, joined Manchester City in the summer of 2017 and has since been on loan to the likes of New York City and Huesca – and then moved to Granda in the summer of 2019 on a two-year deal. He has since played 74 times for the Spanish club.
The Venezuela international has starred for Granada since moving to Spain, scoring eight goals this season in his 38 games. Goal claim that Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are keeping tabs on Herrera, with a view to giving him a go next season.

However, Herrera is the subject of interest. West Ham and Southampton are interested in signing the South American midfielder, with the Hammers looking to add depth in the middle of the park – something which they lack.
Mark Noble, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Pablo Fornals are options, but the latter is more of a winger and another midfielder is certainly required. City fans have reacted on Twitter to reports that the Hammers are keen, and many want him kept.
Indeed, Granada take on Manchester United and City fans want him in their squad if they knock the Red Devils out.
