Manchester City fans react as Kevin De Bruyne’s Belgium thrash Andrew Robertson’s Scotland

Kevin De Bruyne scored for Belgium.

As Scotland hosted Belgium during the international break, there was a ‘clash of the titans’ battle between two players. Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne wore the respective captains’ armbands for Scotland and Belgium.

But there was only one winner on the field of play. De Bruyne guided his side to a 4-0 win over Scotland, oozing class throughout the game. It was a difficult evening for Robertson, who could not inspire the Scots to an unlikely result.

During the domestic season, De Bruyne and Robertson are big rivals. Manchester City have got the better of Liverpool for the past two years, winning back-to-back Premier League titles.

But the Reds will be desperate to steal the title from Man City this season with Robertson due to play a key role at left-back. De Bruyne, however, is back to his best and will do all he can to keep the Premier League trophy in Manchester.

It was the De Bruyne show last night as the midfielder bagged three assists in the first half. The 28-year-old then scored late in the game to seal a comfortable 4-0 win. Here are some Man City fans reacting to De Bruyne’s dominant display against Robertson.
