Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha as Neil Lennon looks to bring in a new striker at Parkhead this summer – and City fans think he should leave the Etihad.
Nmecha, 21, endured a difficult 2019-20 campaign in which he failed to score a single goal either on loan at German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg or English Championship outfit Middlesbrough. He is now back at Man City.
The Hamburg-born striker has entered the final 12 months of his contract at The Etihad and while he will be keen to go on loan and show City why he can add to his three senior appearances – he may have played his last City match.

That is because The Daily Mail claim Scottish champions Celtic are looking to exercise their strong relationship with Manchester City once again. This time, for Germany Under-21 international Nmecha.
In recent history, Celtic have signed Patrick Roberts on numerous occasions from Manchester City on loan – while Olivier Ntcham was signed permanently from City for £4.5million. Now, Nmecha could be the next player.
Manchester City supporters reacted to the reported news that Celtic were keen on raiding Pep Guardiola’s side and luring Nmecha to Parkhead this summer – and many City fans are keen to see him leave, on loan or permanently.
