Manchester City fans react as Arsenal reportedly eye John Stones
A number of Manchester City fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from Eurosport claiming that Arsenal are monitoring John Stones ahead of the January transfer window.
Stones has only made a handful of starts for Pep Guardiola’s side so far this season. However, he was extremely impressive at the weekend as City stormed to an emphatic win, keeping a clean sheet in the process.

And it appears that he is attracting attention ahead of the window. Eurosport reports that a number of clubs want the 26-year-old, including the Gunners.
The report has suggested that Mikel Arteta wants to be kept informed of Stones’s transfer status. And he would be interested in speaking to the centre-back if he becomes available.

There was a time when it appeared that City fans would have relished the chance to offload the former Everton man. He had previously struggled to silence his doubters.
However, it seems that the supporters now have no interest in seeing Stones join the likes of Arsenal. They have insisted that he is looking much better this term.
And thus, some of the fans have implored the club to make sure that they hold onto the Englishman next month and snub any potential interest from Arteta.
Here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the reports…

Would be a good signing for arsenal I think but we should keep him unless there are obvious signs of him not being confident/focused
