Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is out of contract at the end of the season and reports from Bravo’s home country of Chile have claimed that Leeds United could be an option for the stopper – prompting reaction from City supporters.
Bravo, 36, is in the final months of his current deal at The Etihad and it looks more than likely that he will see his £80,000-a-week contract expire. He has played just 58 times for City in four years at the club.
The former Barcelona man worked under Marcelo Bielsa when the current Leeds boss took the reigns of the Chile national team for four years, between 2007 and 2011. Bravo, a two-time Premier League winner, has 121 caps to his name.
Now, Chilean outlet En Cancha claims Bravo has four options available to him ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the season. A move to Mexico, a return to Spain, or a big pay-off in the Chinese Super League could materialise.
But a reunion at Elland Road could also be on the cards, with Leeds edging ever closer to promotion under Bielsa. The Whites have slipped a bit in recent games, with the performances of Kiko Casilla coming under scrutiny from supporters.
Manchester City fans have reacted to the news that Leeds could sign Bravo in the summer on a free transfer, four years after he joined City from Barcelona for a fee of £17.1million (BBC). One fan Tweeted: “He’s yours”, while another suggested a swap with Casilla.
@LUFC Only 8m and he’s yours, discount price!

Makes it much easier for the “I’ll drive him there myself” clique.

Highly doubt they'd have a finished 37 year old as their main keeper.
