Jack Harrison starred for Leeds United as Marcelo Bielsa’s men performed admirably at The Emirates on Monday night but eventually lost 1-0 to Arsenal – and Manchester City fans have discussed his future, with Harrison on loan at Elland Road.
Reiss Nelson scored the only goal of the game as Arsenal advanced into the fourth round of the FA Cup where a lengthy trip to Premier League side AFC Bournemouth awaits them. But it was hardly all plain sailing for the north Londoners.
Leeds dominated the first half and England Under-21 international Harrison had his own personal duel with Arsenal goalkeeper Emi Martinez. The Argentine saved four shots from Manchester City loanee Harrison, who impressed throughout.

Harrison, 23, has come on leaps and bounds under Bielsa at Leeds. First arriving at Elland Road after a difficult spell at Middlesbrough, the former New York City star was low on confidence. Fast forward 18 months, and it is a different story.
The £51k-a-week (Spotrac) winger terrorised Arsenal’s back three during the entire 90 minutes, but failed to deliver the killer blow. Patrick Bamford also hit the bar, while Martinez produced a magical save to deny a header from Gjanni Alioski.
Harrison has a contract at Manchester City until the summer of 2022 and after watching him excel against Arsenal, City fans feel they have a real prospect on their hands. They are aware, though, that his future is probably not at The Etihad.
