Arsenal have been linked with Ruben Neves over the past few months.
In July, Fabrizio Romano suggested that the Gunners’ interest in the Wolves ace could ramp up this month.
As well as Arsenal, Premier League rivals Manchester United are reportedly also keen on Neves.

Wolves boss Bruno Lage has now addressed the 24-year-old’s future amid Gunners and Red Devils links.
“All the top players we have are linked with all the clubs in the world,” he told Sky Sports at his pre-match press conference.
“If you go to Portugal, the top players at Benfica are all linked with moves to Wolves.
“Ruben is happy here and we are happy with him.
“We are not thinking to let anyone leave, but every player has a price.

“You never know, if Messi changes to PSG then anyone can go.”
Neves started for Wolves last week as they began their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Leicester.
Reported Arsenal target “draws comparisons with the likes of Xabi Alonso”
Neves might be a tricky player for Arsenal to sign, considering he seems happy at Wolves, as per Lage’s comments.
However, his quality, combined with his reported £35million price tag, means he’s certainly worth a shout.

Some Gunners fans urged the club to move for Houssem Aouar after landing Martin Odegaard, but Neves would certainly do a great job too.
The Portuguese is a superb passer of the ball, and in May 2019, 90Min spoke highly about his style of play.
“He draws comparisons with the likes of Xabi Alonso, Paul Scholes, and Andrea Pirlo – the latter of which Neves has confessed to modelling himself after,” they wrote.
And in 2018, Paul Merson wrote: “His passing and his vision, this kid is unbelievable.”
