Altay Bayindir’s display against Fulham was called into question as Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.
Emile Smith-Rowe’s late equaliser for Fulham saw United drop more points having lost to Arsenal in their first game of the season.
Leny Yoro opened the scoring in West London which made up for Bruno Fernandes blazing his spot kick over the bar in the first-half.
In the aftermath of the underwhelming draw at Fulham, there were big question marks from supporters about their goalkeeper.

Man United fans slam Altay Bayindir’s ability at corners
Manchester United fans were left fuming at Altay Bayindir’s ability at corners, with the 27-year-old looking rather suspect every time the ball was swung into the penalty area.
In their Premier League opener against Arsenal, the Red Devils conceded from a corner which the Turkish shot-stopper flapped at.
Roy Keane criticised Bayindir’s performance against Arsenal and urged him to “take control” of his penalty area after Riccardo Calafiori headed home the winning goal.

Against Fulham, the goalkeeper showed the same issues as he completed just one high claim against the West London club.
The hosts had nine corners against United and each time United looked vulnerable in an issue Ruben Amorim must address.
After the game, Man United supporters took to X to share their concerns about their current goalkeeper’s worrying ability on set-pieces.
One fan said: “The full Altay Bayindir experience thus far. Beautiful distribution, couple of class saves, but total nerves at each corner taken, flapping away like a bird.
“Never seen a goalkeeper this bad at managing corners. Bayindir is a disaster waiting to happen,” claimed another fan.
There were further criticism of the shotstopper: “We need at least two because Bayindir is 100% letting one in from a corner.”
Finally, another claimed: “Bayindir during corners is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen from a goalkeeper.”
There has been talk of a new goalkeeper arriving at Old Trafford in the final few days of the window, with Senne Lammens linked with Man United.
Man United are open to selling Andre Onana, which means that Bayindir could become the number two option should a new shotstopper arrive.
Ruben Amorim explains why Altay Bayindir started vs Fulham
Ruben Amorim didn’t give too much away as to why he opted for Bayindir over Onana against Fulham, claiming that he wanted his “best players to win the game”.
It’s quickly becoming apparent that the Portuguese manager no longer fancies Onana and his career at Old Trafford is quickly coming to an end.
Amorim told Sky Sports: “It’s the same kind of decision a manager has to do. I try to see the game, I try to imagine the next game, I try to put the best players to win the game. So I did that.”
Bayindir’s display against Marco Silva’s team could force United to speed up their search for a new goalkeeper in the final nine days of the transfer window.
