Ederson did not travel with the Manchester City squad to Wolves on Saturday amid ongoing interest from Galatasaray.
TBR Football reported this week that Ederson has asked to leave the Etihad, and despite Pep Guardiola denying that on Friday, Ederson was suddenly absent for City’s trip to Wolves.
Guardiola had said Ederson was fit to play and had not asked him to leave, however he was then deemed ‘unwell’ for the Wolves trip and the timing may increase speculation over his future.

Summer signing James Trafford made his debut for City in Ederson’s place at Molineux, starting ahead of Stefan Ortega who is also linked with an Etihad exit.
Ederson misses Wolves through illness as Pep Guardiola makes transfer stance clear
On Friday, Pep Guardiola was defiant regarding Ederson’s future, saying he will remain in contention to play unless he asks to leave.
“Ederson didn’t come to me and said he wanted to leave or he has an offer,” Guardiola said. “All the players here are our players and I want them. What’s going to happen in three weeks [before the window closes], nobody knows.”

The next day, Guardiola confirmed that Ederson had an untimely bout of illness, telling Sky Sports: “He has stomach problems, yesterday he didn’t feel good, vomiting, and the doctors decide he stays in Manchester.”
City host Tottenham next week in their first home game of the season, where they will hope Ederson recovers for that high-profile clash.
Savinho absent from Wolves vs Man City amid Tottenham links
One player who was confirmed to be missing from Wolves vs Manchester City was Savinho, who is the subject of interest from Tottenham.

Guardiola has always allowed unhappy players to leave City if an acceptable offer arrives, although he appeared frustrated with Savinho in Friday’s press conference – then confirming that the winger will miss the next few weeks with an unspecified injury.
Savinho has since posted pictures to his social media from his personal gym and speculation will continue over his future until the transfer window closes.
Meanwhile, both Rodri and Phil Foden – absent from last week’s friendly at Palermo – were both missing at Wolves as a precaution given their recent injury records.
