“Make it happen”: Everton fans delighted with links to 30-goal striker

Everton are reportedly interested in trying to sign Brentford’s Ivan Toney – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are excited by the transfer speculation.

According to the Athletic, Premier League duo Everton and Leicester City are preparing bids for the 25-year-old striker at the end of the season.

Additionally, TEAMtalk claimed back in March that the English centre-forward is valued at £30million amid interest from Arsenal, Leeds United and West Ham.

Toney, who is having a phenomenal first season at Griffin Park, is part of a Brentford side that will be taking part in this year’s Championship play-offs.

The frontman has caught the eye of plenty due to the fact he’s already scored 30 goals this campaign. However, on top of that, the attacker has also set up 10 assists.

A selection of Everton supporters on social media are thrilled by speculation that suggests they could try bring Toney to Goodison Park during the summer transfer window.

He’s an all-round striker that works had, has raw pace, and has a clinical finishing touch around the penalty box.

It’s true that he’s spent most of his career so far developing his game in the lower leagues, but Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is a perfect example this year that shows a prolific goalscorer in the Championship can do the same in the top flight.
