‘Make him captain’: Tottenham fans react to performance of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg against LASK

Tottenham fans were celebrating last night as Spurs saw off LASK in the Europa League despite Jose Mourinho making a host of changes.

Into the team came the likes of Carlos Vinicius, Gareth Bale, and Lucas Moura, while the likes of Harry Kane were rested.

Ben Davies once again played at centre-back as he had done for Wales last week and, in the end, Tottenham cruised home thanks to an own goal, and two more from Lucas and the in-form Heung-Min Son.

However, once again, it was the performance of summer signing and midfield destroyer, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg that caught the eye of a number of Tottenham fans.

Supporters were out in their droves to sing the praises of the Danish midfielder on Twitter, after what was another all-action display from their £15m summer signing.
