Arsenal fans have been celebrating in their droves on social media as academy striker Folarin Balogun has reportedly signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners after months of speculation.
According to Sky Sports Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old attacker has finally put pen to paper and signed a new deal with the north London club, keeping him at Arsenal until June 2025 and putting an end to the transfer saga.
Balogun’s current contract was set to expire this summer, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that as many as 15 clubs made proposals to the teenage striker, yet Mikel Arteta’s side have managed to tie the youngster’s future down to his boyhood club.
