Following the weekend’s football, Alan Shearer has now been delivering some praise to a certain Tottenham Hotspur forward.
Ange Postecoglou’s side travelled to Goodison Park hoping for three points, but were denied by a late Jarrad Branthwaite equaliser.

Guglielmo Vicario’s command of his box from set-pieces was called into question once called, a slight blip to his strong start at Spurs.
However, this Tottenham team always looks like scoring, and they wasted little time on their trip to Merseyside.
Son Heung-min’s departure to the Asian Cup this month was always going to be a blow, and questions were asked as to who was going to step up.
But as hoped, Richarlison has now filled the void with his goal-scoring – which has been unrecognisable from last season.
And when sharing his Team of the Week, Alan Shearer was incredibly impressed with the Tottenham forward’s finishing.
Shearer wasn’t too surprised to see Richarlison slotting from close-range, but he did love to see the Brazilian score a rare goal outside of the box.
Alan Shearer blown away by Tottenham forward Richarlison against Everton
The pundit certainly knows a thing or two about finishing, so his praise shouldn’t be taken too lightly.
Shearer said: “After tucking away yet another close-range goal, he showed he can be clinical from further out too, with a magnificent finish outside the box.”

Of course, Richarlison’s reaction after scoring those goals was arguably even more impressive than the strikes themselves.
Players often show humility when scoring against their old sides, but Richarlison looked genuinely gutted to be hurting Everton’s cause.
That raw emotion is part of the reason why so many fans have loved the Brazilian at their club over the years.
And since his £50m-move a few seasons ago, Richarlison has now been giving Spurs fans a reason to get attached.
His ten league goals this season already dwarf the solitary striker he managed last campaign, he’s benefitting from Postecoglou’s arrival as much as anyone.
And given the Tottenham forward’s form right now, this probably won’t be the last time Shearer gives him praise.
That being said, Spurs may enjoy the return of another player who’s massively improved this coming weekend.
