'Madness', 'Lost the plot': Liverpool fans question Klopp's decision to take Mo Salah off

Liverpool fans were in agreement with former defender and Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Carragher, as he questioned the decision to take Mo Salah off last night.

Jurgen Klopp opted to take Salah off with the game at 1-0. It was a decision which clearly didn’t sit well with Salah, who looked visibly annoyed when he left the field.

The decison also baffled former Liverpool favourite Carragher. The Sky pundit questioned the decision after the game and couldn’t work out why Klopp had taken his top scorer off when in need of a goal.

Of course, the decision was a big talking point on Twitter following the game. And it seems Liverpool fans, in the main, were in full agreement with Carragher’s assessment of the situation.

So while there wasn’t much to shout home about for a number of Liverpool players, some fans were completely baffled by Klopp’s decision remove Salah from the action.

I wouldn’t blame Salah if he requests to leave. Mane and Firmino have been terrible all season but Salah who has been the best player is taken off.

All 3 subs were baffling to me.. I love Bobby but hes not a goalscorer.. and mane looks off the boil n needs a rest.. ox been poor and milly aint scoring… weird! We need to shoot more and id play salah up top maybe shaq on.rifht and jota left next game… rest Bobby n sadio
