Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after Yaya Toure was spotted wearing Liverpool shorts at the club’s pre-season camp in Austria.

What’s the story?

Well, the Manchester City legend was spotted on enemy territory, as he linked up with Liverpool in Austria.

As revealed by Sadio Mane, the Ivorian is keen to get into coaching, and asked if he could come to watch one of Jürgen Klopp’s sessions.

Clearly, the Reds were happy to let him do so, as he was pictured alongside Mohamed Salah wearing Liverpool shorts.

Some Liverpool fans loved the image, and decided to dig out some old comments from Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne.

Both the Argentine and the Belgian – every inch Manchester City legends in their own right – have previously confessed their love for Liverpool.

You might’ve wondered why Toure didn’t ask to go and watch one of Pep Guardiola’s sessions at his beloved Manchester City.

Well, as the Daily Mail covered, the pair don’t exactly get along.

Toure and Guardiola have been at loggerheads for years now, with the Ivorian even accusing the Spaniard of racism.
