Liverpool wonder-kid Harry Wilson is impressing on loan at Derby County and looks a class above at Championship level.

In 19 games, Wilson has scored eight goals, following last season’s impressive haul of seven goals in 13 games at Hull City.

With 22 key passes as well, according to Who Scored, the 21-year-old is a major attacking threat for the Rams.

The Wales international is on a season-long loan at Derby and it looks like Liverpool might give him a go next season.

Consequently, Frank Lampard soon needs to start planning for life without Wilson.

But his solution could be closer to home; Derby starlet Luke Thomas has a very bright future.

The 19-year-old has spent this season on loan at Coventry City in League One and he just seems to be getting better with each game that passes.

The left-footed winger usually plays on the right and he grabbed his third goal of the season in Coventry’s loss to Walsall.

All three of Thomas’ goals have come in the last seven matches as he starts to add end product to his game.

Thomas has a lot of natural skill and he has the ability to take players on and beat them with ease.

The one thing lacking from his game is to be more ruthless in front of goal but that will improve during his loan stay with Coventry.

And when he returns to Derby in January or at the end of the season, the ex-Cheltenham ace will be eyeing Wilson’s spot in the team.
