Sunderland are said to be interested in signing Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara in the summer. According to the Daily Mail, the Black Cats join the likes of Derby, Burnley, Wolves, Celtic and Rangers in the hunt for the player, who also has interest from Major League Soccer and Eastern Europe.
The Finland international is a former Arsenal talent who has been in fine form for Dundee in recent months. His contract expires in the summer, meaning Sunderland could discuss a pre-contract agreement with the player from January. However, Dundee are said to be considering cashing in now, rather than lose him for free.
He would be a great signing for Sunderland. However, one player at the Stadium of Light will probably not be looking to see him arrive.

Luke O’Nien arrived in the summer for an undisclosed fee. He had played a key role for Wycombe Wanderers last season and Sunderland fought hard to bring the central midfielder in.
However, he has not yet found the form Sunderland fans were hoping for. He is yet to play 90 minutes if league action for Sunderland and was not selected in their last three squads prior to the international break.
The arrival of Kamara would make the competition even harder for the 24-year-old, who has so far failed to produce the necessary performance at this level.
O’Nien will hope Sunderland give him another chance before they turn to the Finland talent.
