There is a very good reason why the large majority of Leeds United fans have not even mentioned Marcelo Bielsa’s future despite the Whites losing 4-1 in back-to-back games.
Bielsa has secured his spot in Elland Road history by delivering promotion. For many, he is already one of the greatest bosses the club have ever had. And some may already be tempted to place him amongst the Whites’ very best.

But despite the Championship title, the exhilarating football and the culture that Bielsa seems to have introduced, it appears that there may be a handful of fans left fearing that he is not going to be the man to keep the club up in the Premier League.
One supporter told talkSPORT that as much as they love Bielsa, they feel that Sam Allardyce would be better equipped to keep Leeds in the top flight.

Unsurprisingly, the comments prompted a strong response from some. And one of those to voice his bemusement at the suggestion was Luke Garbutt.
Garbutt, of course, started his career at Leeds. He then joined Everton and was around the club when Allardyce was in charge at Goodison Park.
But the left-back was clearly not buying into the idea that Allardyce could do a better job than the Argentinian…
You would surely do well to find a Leeds supporter who agrees that Allardyce is needed. There are some issues for Bielsa to address during the international break.
But they are still only one point closer to the bottom three than the top of the table. So it seems highly unlikely that the decision-makers at Elland Road will be looking for Allardyce’s number anytime soon.
