Despite a strong start to the campaign under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds fans may feel that they have not had much luck on their side when it comes to injuries and the latest victim is Luke Ayling.
The 27-year-old looks to have picked up a serious knee injury in the draw with Nottingham Forest at the weekend which could rule him out long-term.
As one of the brightest and most consistent performers, that will come as a big blow to the Whites, particularly given his performances at wing-back and also giving the option to fill in centrally.

However, it could open up the door to Tom Pearce. The youngster replaced him as a substitute at the weekend and finally got a chance having been left out by Bielsa for much of the opening stages of the campaign.
With Stuart Dallas switching to the right, Pearce can take up his preferred position on the left flank and will be hoping that he can earn his first league start of the season in the Championship.
Having done well in cup competitions and as a substitute, Pearce has earned his chance but must now take it.
