Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich nearing completion as Liverpool progress with another £85m star’s departure

TBR Football understands that Bayern Munich have lodged their second bid for Luis Diaz, and a deal is close.

TBR Football revealed on Friday that the two clubs were in ‘advanced talks’ and Bayern were ready to make an offer of €80million for Diaz.

Sources have now confirmed to TBR Football that Bayern have made their offers and only fine details need to be agreed.

We revealed earlier in the week that Diaz had already agreed a long-term deal with Bayern ahead of the two clubs coming to an agreement.

Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football, has confirmed Diaz’s Liverpool departure is close, and that Darwin Nunez to Saudi Arabia is also progressing.

Bailey states: “As we confirmed before the weekend, the two clubs were in talks and now Bayern have lodged their offer which Liverpool are set to accept.

“We are told by high-ranking Liverpool sources that whilst not finished, the talks are nearing a conclusion.”

Bailey continues: “We can also confirm that talks with the Saudi Pro League and a prospective deal for Nunez are progressing.”

Nunez, of course, cost Liverpool a club-record £85m in 2022, but so far it’s unknown how much they’ll recoup if they do sell the Uruguayan.
