Tottenham face Leeds United in a matter of hours but there has been a late blow to proceedings with the news that Lucas Moura will miss the fixture.
The Brazilian winger has been a key man so far for Spurs under Antonio Conte. Indeed, the Italian has lauded the diminutive former PSG star as ‘wonderful’ to work with during his time at the club.

But according to Football.London, Lucas will play no part against Leeds today after picking up a knock in training which has ruled him out of contention. It’s another blow for Conte, who was hoping for maximum opportunities for his squad to put the loss against Burnley behind them.
Lucas being out could, however, mean that Dejan Kulusevski is given another go down the right. The young Swede has done well so far in Tottenham colours and has been tipped for a big future.
TBR’s View: Tottenham Woe Continues Here With Lucas Blow
There is no doubt that Lucas Moura is one of Spurs’ better players. He is capable of the sublime but under Conte’s system, his work-rate is also a big factor.
Alas, Spurs will have to do without him today. It’s a shame too, given his speed would have probably worked well against a Leeds side who are wide open on the counter attack at times.
