Liverpool fans have been discussing the latest news around Harvey Elliott on Twitter, after they finally found out what they’d pay Fulham for the youngster.

A statement from the Reds confirmed that a minimal fee of around £1.5m was due immediately for Elliott, with other instalments and a 20% sell on clause all due to come.

It is believed both clubs are happy enough with the outcome for Elliott. The midfielder is currently on loan with Blackburn Rovers and has been impressing at Championship level.

A big summer could be on the cards for Elliott. He’s already dipped his toes into the first team under Jurgen Klopp, suggesting he could be a huge player for the club going forward.
