Arsenal fans were loving it last night as their team made it three wins in a row with a fine display of attacking intent against West Brom.

Mikel Arteta’s side were at their scintillating best going forward, led by the young duo of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe, who both impressed once more in Gunners shirts.

There were a number of other fine performances, too. The likes of Kieran Tierney performed well, while Alexandre Lacazette showed his quality with two goals. However, it was the performance at the back of the often unsung Pablo Mari which has some Arsenal fans talking on Twitter.

The defender has come back from injury and proven a useful player for Arteta in recent weeks and, alongside Rob Holding, delivered another stellar performance at the heart of the Gunners’ defence.

Some Arsenal supporters, then, were quick to praise the defender on social media, singling him out for specific praise following the game.
