Tottenham are reportedly leading the race for West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone – and some Spurs fans on Twitter believe that he could be a really smart addition for them this summer.
ESPN claims that Spurs are in pole position for the Englishman, who recently earned his first call-up to the senior national team.
It is understood that Jose Mourinho’s side are currently ahead of both West Ham and Leeds United in the pursuit of his signature at the end of the season.
The report shares that the shot-stopper may be available for as little as £10million, as this summer his contract reaches its final year.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media feel that a £10million price tag makes the West Brom ace a bargain.
He’s been a nailed-on starter in goal this season for a West Brom side that have a massive job on their hands to get out of relegation trouble, but he’s been a rare positive.
England boss Gareth Southgate gave him recognition for his individual displays with an international call-up, albeit he’s yet to earn his first cap.
Spurs do have French World Cup winner Hugo Lloris as their number one goalkeeper and Joe Hart as his understudy, so it would be interesting to see where they think Johnstone could slot into the squad.
