‘Love it’: Arsenal fans love what David Luiz did to Patrick Bamford against Leeds

Patrick Bamford has told the Peter Crouch podcast that David Luiz gave him some brutal treatment this season and Arsenal fans have been loving what they’re hearing.

Bamford admitted that Luiz had ‘trampled all over him’ following a hefty challenge when Leeds played Arsenal earlier in the season. Luiz’s mark on Bamford came after the Leeds striker had given the experienced Brazilian a slight kick to the ankle earlier in the game.

Arsenal signed Luiz from Chelsea and since then, he has always split fan opinion. Some are in favour of the fact he has won the lot, bringing experience and winning mentality to the group.

On the other hand, there are Gunners fans who feel Luiz can sometimes be a liability of sorts. Whether that be through mistakes, or a lack of discipline.
