Louis Saha has told Super Sunday (broadcast on Sky Sports; 23/2; 18:58) that Bukayo Saka is an unbelievable talent after the Arsenal youngster provided an amazing assist in the Gunners’ win over Everton on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s side have now won their last three games in all competitions. And they remain unbeaten in 2020 after beating the Toffees 3-2 at the Emirates.

It was the visitors who took the lead however. But Arsenal would equalise after a moment of magic from Saka as he set up Eddie Nketiah with his 10th assist of the campaign.

The 18-year-old produced an outrageous cross that found Nketiah near the six-yard box. And while Saha warned that Saka may need to improve at the back if he is going to continue to play at left-back, he suggested that he has a frightening amount of quality.

“It’s unbelievable. When you look at this cross, it’s just unplayable for the goalkeeper to come out and for the defender to try and get his head around this. It’s really hard,” he told Super Sunday while reflecting on Saka’s assist.

“By the look of it, he can maybe get five more [assists]. Can you imagine this? Unbelievable talent. Defending, it’s very important for his position. I think he may have lost a few balls during the game and this is what he needs to improve.”

Saka’s potential has arguably been apparent for some time. But he appears to have stepped up a couple of levels in recent weeks.

He has scored one and provided four assists in his last five appearances in all competitions. Those contributions have come from a position that he was previously untested in.

He has not only established himself as a prominent member of the left-back pecking order with his recent form, but he has also whetted the appetite for when he gets the chance to push further up the field again.
