Losing Ovie Ejaria would be a hammer blow for Rangers
Rangers losing Ovie Ejaria would put a huge dent in their hopes of any silverware this season.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, the young midfielder has suspiciously deleted his Twitter account, and also unfollowed the Light Blues on Instagram, leading to speculation he could be set to return to Liverpool.
Ejaria was supposed to spend the season at Ibrox, but things seem up in the air now.
Last month Ejaria was allegedly wrapped for turning up late to training. But he then started the games against Hearts and Aberdeen.
He has since found himself in and out of the team, leaving many confused as to what is going on and if something has happened behind the scenes.
Losing Ejaria would be a major blow for Rangers
If the speculation rings true and Ejaria is to end his loan stint early, then the Gers will have lost a big player.
He may not have been at the top of his game recently, but Ejaria offers something different to all the other Gers midfielders.
He is a great technical player, capable of picking the ball up and surging forwards.
Ejaria is skilful and is very handy when the midfield becomes congested as he can elegantly manoeuvre out of tricky situations.
He has lacked consistency, but his raw talent is obvious.
Clearly Gerrard trusted him, as is evidenced by the fact he has made 20 competitive appearances so far this season.
Whatever has gone on, hopefully for Gers fans the situation is salvageable.
