Los Angeles FC fans react as Tottenham and Everton reportedly eye Diego Rossi
Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are reportedly interested in signing Los Angeles FC striker Diego Rossi this summer. His form in MLS has not gone unnoticed even among Premier League clubs. Now, fans of the newly-formed club have reacted to the news Tottenham and Everton are keen.
Rossi, 23, won last season’s MLS golden boot with 14 goals before the epidemic struck. In 107 games in all competitions for LAFC, Uruguay star Rossi has scored an impressive 56 times. He has formed a brilliant partnership in the final third with ex-Arsenal attacker Carlos Vela.
The Telegraph claim that both Tottenham and Everton are keen on Rossi. It is believed that the 5ft 6in attacker is believed to be worth £10million – with both clubs needing to back-up. Neither side have cover for Harry Kane or Dom Calvert-Lewin in the final third.
What are Los Angeles fans saying about Tottenham and Everton interest in Rossi?
Carlos Vinicius is expected to see his loan expire and return to Benfica, while Moise Kean will leave Everton permanently this summer. Josh King has seen his six-month deal at Everton expire. Rossi would be a top signing for either club then, but what are Los Angeles fans saying about it?
Well, the overriding reaction of the MLS club are happy to see Rossi depart in the coming weeks and months. They are more than keen for their star striker to leave and achieve what they know he is capable of in Europe.
