West Ham beat Reading in a pre-season game on Wednesday evening – and some Hammers fans on Twitter were left extremely impressed by the performance of their star Said Benrahma.
The Hammers beat Championship opposition Reading 3-0 in an impressive friendly match.
Jeriel Dorsett’s own goal started the scoring in the first half. Afterwards, Conor Coventry and Ben Johnson both netted in the second period for the Irons.
David Moyes’ side turned in arguably their best display of pre-season so far. But, will now turn their attention to an exciting clash with Celtic at the weekend.

Benrahma hot topic of conversation with West Ham fans
West Ham can be delighted to see some of their academy prospects shining as part of the senior team. However, so much attention shifted onto a second-half display from Benrahma.
A selection of Hammers supporters were raving about the 25-year-old after he came on as a half-time substitute.
The Algerian playmaker delivered an eye-catching display, showing some neat touches and some attacking intent in a number 10 playmaker role.
He’s often deployed as a winger, but should be a genuine option for a central role behind the striker when the 2021/22 season officially starts.
It feels like he only showed a fraction of what he’s capable of last year during his debut season at the London Stadium.
The ex-Brentford ace certainly has the backing of the fanbase going into this campaign.
