Spurs fans finally got themselves a good look at Dele Alli last night, as Jose Mourinho opted to start the England midfielder against Wolsfberger.
Tottenham ran out 4-1 winners in Budapest, securing a comfortable win in which Gareth Bale exploded into life and Carlos Vinicius once again got himself on the scoresheet in Harry Kane’s absence.
But all eyes were firmly fixed on both Alli and Bale in the main. And in fairness, both players produced the goods, with Bale getting a goal and an assist and Dele looking dangerous with his runs from deep.

Indeed, it was the performance of Dele Alli that was once of the big discussion points on Twitter following the game. Spurs fans have longed to see Dele be given a chance, so last night was the ideal time for him to impress.
And based on some of the comments on Twitter, impress is just what Alli did.
