‘Looked great today’: Liverpool fans laud Sadio Mane despite Brighton draw

Liverpool were held by Brighton today at Anfield as Graham Potter’s men came from behind to take a well-earned 2-2 draw against the Reds.

Despite going in front through Jordan Henderson and then Sadio Mane, Liverpool couldn’t build on it and were punished. Goals from Enock Mwepu and Leandro Trossard ensured it was a fine comeback point for the Seagulls.

For a change, Mo Salah couldn’t get himself on the scoresheet. He was quiet compared to his usual self, but the same cannot be said of his opposite winger, Sadio Mane.

The Senegalese start looked close to being back to his very best for Liverpool at times. He was electric in spells, and was unlucky to see a goal chalked off by VAR for handball with the game already at 2-0.

Everyone knows how crucial Mane is to the cause for Liverpool. And on social media, there were plenty of Reds supporters singing his praises.
