Leeds United Under-21s returned to the top of the Premier League 2 Division 2 table on Friday night.
Michael Skubala’s Whites ran out 4-0 winners over Stoke’s U21s at York’s LNER Community Stadium.
Mateo Joseph was the standout for Leeds U21s, netting a hat-trick against the visitors.

And Sonny Perkins, arguably the youth signing of the summer, extended his scoring run to nine games.
The 18-year-old now has 12 goals in all competitions this season for both club and country (England Under-19).
Leeds U21s are unbeaten in the Premier League 2 Division 2 with five wins and a draw from their opening six games.
Their hammering of the Potters put the Elland Road outfit two points above second-placed Middlesbrough U21s.
While Mateo and Perkins stood out with their goal contributions, other Leeds players did incredibly well.
Sean McGurk was one of those, putting in a great display against Stoke’s U21s.
In the 18th minute, the 19-year-old played a part in Mateo’s second goal.
McGurk set up Perkins to have a go at goal, and though it was blocked, Mateo converted on the rebound.
The winger then had a go himself with an effort from range which went just wide of goal.
Just after the half-hour mark, he made his way into the box, fighting off a challenge, and set up Perkins for an effort which was saved.
And on the stroke of half time, McGurk provided the assist for Perkins to extend his remarkable scoring run.
He broke down the wing and found his teammate in the box, who in turn showed his composure to fire home.
And in the 57th minute, McGurk went in with another drive infield and had another go with a low effort that went clear.

McGurk played until the 68th minute, with Amari Miller taking his place.
Leeds Live praised the youngster’s efforts on the night, giving him an 8 out of 10.
‘Found plenty of joy with the ball at his feet after establishing early that he had the beating of his man,’ they wrote.
‘Created chances and looked a threat off the left wing.’
McGurk is just one of many top talents in the Leeds academy, and it’ll be exciting to see how he fares in the coming year or two.
