Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min believes that criticism of Spurs boss Jose Mourinho this season has been “a bit unfair”.
The North Londoners are currently in great form, having won their last five games in all competitions, scoring plenty of goals along the way.
Mourinho has also managed to get players who were previously struggling, like Gareth Bale, Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele, playing well again.

However, it’s not been plain sailing this season, with their poor run of form back in late January to mid-February – six losses from eight games – prompting a lot of criticism towards the boss.
Speaking on Stadium Astro’s YouTube Channel, Son was asked about whether he thought this was unwarranted.
“Yeah, I think so, because look, let’s be honest,” he replied. “I think he’s won the most trophies in football management.
“Every single club has tough situations and the way we go, we’ve gone through a couple of weeks now and he’s shown he will never give up.
“That’s why he’s shown that he’s one of the best managers in the world, so I think, it’s a bit unfair as well.”
TBR View:
It’s been a rollercoaster season for pretty much every team in the league amid empty stadiums and fixtures coming thick and fast.
Manchester City are pretty much the only team in the division who are showing impressive consistency, but even they weren’t exactly firing on all cylinders earlier in the campaign.
The important thing is that Spurs look good now and can finish the season strongly – perhaps break their silverware duck after 13 years too.
