Tottenham Hotspur were heavily linked with a move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in the summer. That interest reportedly remains. New boss Jose Mourinho is said to be a big fan of Dybala, as reported by MARCA, and the Argentine would be a huge signing for the London side.
So the news that Dybala has been spotted in and around London with his girlfriend will undoubtedly have Tottenham fans very excited. Pictures on Instagram have suggested Dybala has visited the London capital with his girlfriend.

But whilst Tottenham fans may be excited about these developments, it is also important to note the latest news coming from Italy.
It appears that Dybala is set to receive his first new contract offer from Juventus amid his recent good form under Maurizio Sarri.
Football Italia rounds up the details. They relay information from Sky Sport Italia and La Gazetta dello sport that a €9 million-a-year (£7.7m-a-year) deal has been offered to the Argentine to tie him down until 2024 with the Bianconeri. Dybala’s demands are said to be nearer to €10m-a-year (£8.5m-a-year), so it would seem an agreement is not far off.
It is hard to see how Tottenham could match that potential salary, which would put Dybala on around £165,000-a-week.
Considering the new contract offer and Dybala’s renewed form in Turin, Tottenham clearly have a battle on to convince the Argentine into a switch – even if he does love the city.
