A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to criticise the lack of Whites players in the EFL’s latest Team of the Week.
Marcelo Bielsa’s charges took on Reading at Elland Road the weekend and secured a 1-0 win, their second consecutive league victory.
The result increased the gap between Leeds and third-placed Fulham – who could only claim a draw on Friday night – to five points.
Leeds were given a tough game but the Whites prevailed thanks to Pablo Hernandez, who made the most of a kind rebound to pick the ball up, weave through the defence and rifle home.

There were plenty of hearts in mouths going into the latter stages of the game, and Kiko Casilla had to be at his best to keep out a George Puscas effort in injury time.
Although Hernandez hasn’t quite hit the heady heights of last season this time round, he’s still more than capable of superb displays, and against the Royals he looked very much back to his best.
However, neither he nor any other Leeds players got into the latest EFL Team of the Week, and some of the Elland Road faithful weren’t pleased.
