Some Arsenal fans were elated after Thierry Henry advised the club to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga.
According to Voetball 24, the Gunners legend recommended young Anderlecht midfielder to the club.
It’s claimed Henry’s advice has helped accelerate a deal for the defensive midfielder.
Anderlecht are demanding between €15m (£13m) and €20m (£17m) for the star.
Henry returned to the Belgium national team this week, where he’ll assist Roberto Martinez.
Lokonga has enjoyed a brilliant personal season with the Belgian side.
At just 21-years-old, Lokonga captained the team throughout most of the campaign.
He narrowly missed out on securing a place in Belgium’s squad for Euro 2020.
