Everton youngster Antony Evans has been linked with a move away from the club on loan, according to reports.
Reliable journalist Alan Nixon reported in early January that Blackpool and Coventry City were hoping to sign Evans on loan until the end of the season.
With first-team opportunities looking limited at Everton right now, a loan move to League One could be the best option for Evans’ development.
The Liverpool-born attacker is an exciting prospect and is comfortable operating anywhere across the attacking midfield line or even as a striker.
Preferring the number 10 role, Evans has been a standout performer for Everton’s under-23 side this season but needs to prove himself in senior football.
The 20-year-old has struck three goals and picked up one assist in 11 Premier League 2 matches but his route to the first-team has been blocked.

His only taste of senior football has been in the Checkatrade Trophy and during a loan spell with Morecambe in the 2016/17 season.
Evans impressed with two goals and two assists while at Morecambe but he needs another chance to prove himself away from Goodison Park.
Blackpool and Coventry would both be exciting opportunities for the Everton starlet, who could gain vital experience away from Merseyside.
This could be the making of Evans’ career when he returns to Everton next summer.
With his contract expiring in summer 2020, he has to do all he can in the next 18 months to ensure he remains at Everton.
