Arsenal are looking to offload some of their younger prospects and it looks like a deal has been agreed to allow one to head out on loan.

With Arsenal now a much stronger team than this time last year, it is hard for some of the younger stars to get consistent game time.

It looks like one of these is Marquinhos and it has been reported that the player will be heading out on loan to a Ligue 1 club.

Chief writer for Football.London Kaya Kaynak shared the latest on the future of the Arsenal prospect. He said: “Understand Marquinhos will join Nantes on loan from Arsenal for the season. Deal set to be completed in the next 48 hours.”

The 20 year-old Brazilian prospect has top potential and has been hailed as a ‘breathtaking’ winger when at his best.

With so much talent on the wings at Arsenal, it is hard for Marquinhos to get a lot of game time at the North London side.

With this in mind, it seems like a great idea for the player, who has featured five times for Brazil at youth level, to head out on loan.

More so, a loan to a top division club like Nantes seems like a great idea. He will grow and also play at a top level so the club can see how much quality he currently has.

Hopefully he will play consistent football in France and shine for Nantes. If he does, there will no doubt be a place for him in the squad next summer.

Arsenal are onto big things right now and this does mean that they cannot keep every player currently on the fringes like Marquinhos. The move benefits all parties.
